Panzer Tracts No. 7-3 - Panzerjaeger (7.5 cm Pak 40/4 to 8.8 cm Waffentraeger) - development and employment from 1939 to 1942
Hillary Louise Doyle
In our 37-year search for original records (created by those responsible for the designing, producing, and using these Panzerjaeger), we have uncovered the real facts on their names (and correct nicknames), production, modification, issue, organization, and frontline employment. The translated after-action reports provide a true understanding of their combat value and the appropriate tactics needed for these thinly armored, open-topped Panzerjaeger to be successful. Hundreds of research hours went into accurately measuring survivors and finding previously unnoticed modifications. This book features new ultra-accurate, as-built 1/35th scale drawings of the 7.5 cm Pak 40/4 auf RSO, Panzerjaeger “Hornisse/Nashorn”, and 8.8 cm Steyr-Waffentraeger. This 80 page book is heavily illustrated with 21 scale drawings and 73 clear/rare large-format photos.
